If you never want to run out of things to do in Atlantic City without ever leaving the hotel, the Tropicana is the place to go. Its got a great variety of restaurants (both upscale and casual), nightclubs, bars, a comedy club, 3-D movie theatre and a ton of great stores to shop at. Its also one of the few... More

Stayed at the Tropicana Memorial Day Weekend 2012. My wife and I and 2 - 21 yr old kids. 2 rooms, $1800 for 3 nights. They were the most disgusting, smelly, dirty, moldy, mildewy old rooms I've ever seen. I talked to the desk manager, Ryan, who showed me 2 other rooms as options; they were equally as disgusting. All in the... More

My daughter checked into tropicana on May 25, 2012 to celebrate her 26th birthday. unfortunately on her way to the west tower elevators she slip and fell in a puddle of something wet on the floor. when she fell there were 2 security guards standing there looking at her doing nothing until other patrons decided to help her, then of... I still love the hotel as a whole but this was my 1st time in the Havana Tower and it needs serious upgrades. Rugs in the floor were pretty filthy, there were two holes in the walls (one bythe door and another over my bed) and the furniture was scratched up and just looked dated. The wallpaper, the drapes, even... More

My husband is a "vacation gambler"...not something we do on a regular basis. Atlantic City is about 3 1/2 hours from our house...so we go there maybe once or twice a year. The Tropicana is an older hotel/casino...on the ocean front. If you want glitz and glitter, go to the Brogata on the marina side. The "Trop" always has a... More

We had the pleasure of staying at Tropicana in Atlantic City for a night. Check in was the fastest of all the casinos we have stayed at, as there is a small check in desk by the Imax theater. I checked in while my husband got tickets for the movie! We stayed in the Havanna Tower which is far enough... More

My husband and I stayed at tropicana for my birthday.although the casino and shops are great the price they charge for a room in the west tower was crazy.the room smelled and needed updates.there was no hair dryer and an ancient t.v.we have stayed in much nicer rooms for a lot less money.i was told we would receive a military... The Tropicana offers everything under one roof and there is no reason to leave during your stay. Between top notch restaurants, great casual food, great drinks, stores of all kind, two starbucks coffee stores, a movie theater, a comedy club, a karaoke bar, enormous casino and various night clubs, why would you need to go anywhere else?

We had a really clean and nice room in the Wet Tower. We used the Drop Key Boxes to express checkout. We have been charged a second nights rate saying that the room was occupied until 4:30 the day of checkout. We left the room at 10:30 in the morning, put our bags in our car, spent another hour at...
