We stayed at this hotel in early Feb 2013. The hotel was nice and was the best one available when we arrived. There are numerous sales folks promoting various hotels near the beach - most are rundown, dirty, & overpriced. One of the sales guys on the street promoted this hotel and we walked in for a look. “Clean, reasonable prices and good location”

When our car died and we were stuck in Santa Marta for a week - we stayed here at the San Francisco - it was clean, reasonable and great location. Free WIFI and like most hotels breakfast is included.
