I stayed at El Arupo for 30 days after leaving two other hostels. It is just a classy place. Peaceful and just 3 blocks from Parque LLeras centro. A nice market, like an AM/PM, is two blocks away. The attendant lives there full time and the kitchen/frig are cleaner! than home. There is NO bar and is not a 'backpackers'... More

I was ther one week ago for 6 days. It was perfect. It´s so clean. And they have very good service. So near from Parque Lleras, like 3 minutes walking. The rooms are so big too. And a beautiful backyard. For me was perfect.

Very charming place, with helpful staff and owner, I wish all the hostels in the world were like this. The whole place is really clean and well maintained. Great hostel feels like your own house, always nice people to meet in a cozy atmosphere. I really recommend Arupo Hostel!!!! Best place to stay in Medellin!!!

This hostel was recommended to us by a hostel in Salento which had exceptional service so we booked in at El Arupo for 2 nights.
