NiCe lobby and lounge bar, good breakfast and really clean. The room wasn't so big and it looks like a little old, also because of the carpet-floor and the furniture. I expected more from a 5 star hotel.

If it comes to 5-star hotels there is not so much choice in Changcun. The Shangri-La is one of the more classical examples with marble and copper trimming. It is a good hotel with spacious rooms and an especially attentive staff. Stayed only 1 night so limited experience with the restaurants and other facilities.

When you check in this hotel you do not expect being right above one of the hottest clubs in town. We had fun in the club with karaoké and dj acts and then go to sleep in a very calm room upstairs.

Staff was very friendly, decent size pool for a tier II city hotel, chinese food from the palace was not bad (I had some green veggie stir fried, tofu and dumplings).
