Despite being brand spanking new, rooms were poorly constructed. Bathrooms had leaking glass shower walls, grouting and caulking not done properly, faucets not positioned for sinks properly, toilets not installed properly. The quality in product was there, the quality of the workmanship was terrible. Disappointing.

Nice hotel, but have had problems with hot water, heaters, and door access for 2 consecutive visits now. Staff is very good and hotel is clean, but starting to break down...

We had a room towards the road which was quite OK as the hotel did only open recently. Carpet still clean, bathroom comfortable, but the window (from bootom to ceiling) was trembling when my 2 year old son knocked against. I was horribly afraid he could fell out of the breaking window... The noise from the road however is terrible... More

We stayed for two nights and already in the first night we had an accident in the shower where the drain cover was put upside down by some cleaner prior the occupancy and once stepped on, the foot was cut and bleeding for quite a while. Stayed here for 6 nights in December 2009. I was lucky to stay in one of the service apartments which was bigger than my house. Great hotel 5***** Will be visiting again in June so look out for my review and photographs

Stayed here on the recommendation of friends. Got upgraded to a deluxe which was a great start. Staff most friendly and helpful. Great breakfasts! Bit out from main Suzhou but only a Eur2 taxi ride into town! A couple of lakeside developments within walking distance with excellent restautants, etc.
