Very nice hotel and they've upgraded their coffee, which is now excellent. Good gym, sauna and swimming pool. The free welcome drink at the bar is very nice touch. The beds are very comfortable. Excellent selection at the breakfast buffet.

i use points to redeem the room, it's quite good, big enough. though the service hot line should be improved. I've ordered a pillow yet it didn't come, and when I call for it at around 22:00, it's no answer at all! the location of the hotel is a little bit TOO quiet, nothing to walk around. ar, there is... I was upgraded to the suite and the room was spacious and fantastic, though a bit aged but well maintained. The location is good, close to the bridge and everything else, though not much restaurants right next to it (I mean like right in the next building). The staff is professional and very helpful. I forgot my laptop adapter in... More

We only stayed for one night in August 2012. We have a twin room which was very large and fitted our family of four very well. The room was in excellent condition and the staff very helpful. We had not problems getting a taxi to the train station. We has a problem with the money machine in their foyer -... More

On the plus side, it's a new hotel. It's nicely furnished. The staff are great. Fantastic even. On the negative side, Marriott hotels use the "Docomo" internet service which may be the most awful in the world. The sheer frustration of having to log in every time you blink led me to buy a 3G card for my tablet and... More

We also stayed at the Novotel in Hankou and would recommend the Marriott over the Novotel as far as the hotel goes. But the location of the Marriott was a little boring. The Novotel is in the action with lots of small eateries and in a far less sterile area of town. However, the rooms at the Marriott were larger... More

Very nice, spacious room and luxurious bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Some nice touches like a free drink at the bar on arrival. Two minor complaints are: The coffee at breakfast was instant I'm guessing. I know coffee is not China's forte, but how about buying some imported fresh stuff? Secondly, the Wifi was on and off... Stayed here for two nights in June 2012. It's OK, nothing special, not as good as the Marriott renaissance hotels in Shanghai. However, 'Flora' is very pretty.

I only stayed one night here on business and wished I could have stayed longer. Lovely comfortable bed - too bad I had an early start! I enjoyed the pool & jacuzzi. We tried to get coffee or a snack when we checked in but the bar was not open at noon. It wasn't until I checked out that I... More
