First, this property cannot be compared to the usual Shangri la hotels you may find in other cities as a few things are not at the same level. For instance, the coffee shop food and service is quite average and it may even be bad since while having dinner nobody will come ever to your table to offer you to... More

Allthough not the newest hotel the rooms and facilities are in good condition and well maintained. Staff is friendly and well trained. Almost everybody speaks reasonable English. Breakfast is good but not great. There is not much to do /see around the hotel, location could be better.

What a nice oasis to walk into the Wuhan Shangri-la and escape the smog and crowds and traffic of the city. The over-size lobby is typical of Shangri-la's - with beautiful decor, art, and floral arrangements. The lobby bar is comfortable and large enough that you are not crowded beside a convention group but rather lots of quiet areas to... More

Hotel is old but clean. I have the room on level 17 with shower area and bath tub. The room is spacious and bed comfortable. Location near a park but a distance from shopping district. Don't recommend meals at Shang Palace, food is disappointing. Breakfast and buffet lunch at cafe is a better choice.

It's a very old hotel (I stayed here 13 years ago too) but also very well kept. Perfect location (that's the advantage of old hotels). Some rooms don't have separated shower cubicle. It is not as fancy as other Shangrila I have stayed but it is at good value: with reasonable rate and offers almost all you need.

Although the location could be better related to airport and city center, I like this hotel. Price is good and the overall experience is excellent. Rooms are large and breakfast buffet is really top. Good value for money.

The Shngri-La in Wuhan is an older proerty, but very well kept. The experience here was comparable to other Shangri-La properties, in that they had all the ammenities you would expect - good servie, good food, decent rooms. Suggest you do check to see what type of shower/tub you have in your room. Some of the rooms only have a... More

I always look forward to my stay at the Shangri-La Wuhan, I have stayed in most of the trip advisor top 10 hotels in Wuhan, but have to say that for me the Shangri-La is the best. All front desk, bell boys, waiters etc. speak good English, rooms are nice and espcially the beds are very comfortable. It offers the... More

The hotel is not new and this is reflected in the rate which is lower than most of Shangri-La hotels. And Wuhan is a 2nd tier city with huge contructions going on as you realize this once your limousine takes you to the hotel which takes almost an hour from the airport to the hotel you see hundreds of skyscrapers...
