Everything about this resort is average. We booked it because of the price comparing with other hotels. The rooms are nice, hotel beach is very good with a nice bar. As well this resort is in Yalong bay, so if you want to go where all the action is in Sanya expect a 30 min drive and 60 Yuans one... More

The hotel is next to the butterflies park but don't have direct access to the beach. You have to walk a bit to reach the sand; however there a part of the beach is belong to the hotel. I came to the Cactus Resort after staying several nights at Ocean Sonic - primarily to come to the Yanglong Bay area for the better beaches. It was immediately disappointing. Recent ressort. The rooms, furnitures and facilities were still in good shape. Ressort located 1 Km away from the beach (Yalong Bay). (10 min. walking, free golf cart shuttle service available) Tried one of the hotel restaurant: large menu, quite pricy for China, but the dishes we picked were really delicious.

My family being Grandparents, parents and children, stayed at the cactus resort for 6 days. We were looking forward to a relaxing holiday.
