30 min from airport (70 rmb), next street has good local clothes & electronic shopping at good prices. Hotel was clean and the manager can organize western breakfast. Was very happy with the price and room.

I travelled to Shenzhen for work and stayed at Maple Leaf City Hotel. The room is very pleasant and clean amid the dark corridor when walking from the lift to the room, which could have give one a shaded impression of the hotel's standard. I stayed at the Maple Leaf City Hotel for a week and loved it - the staff was great, the breakfast buffet has something for everyone, the room is comfortable (bed was actually sleep-able -- most are too hard) and the marble bathroom and great bath products were a nice bonus.
