I stayed here for a few weeks. The restaurant is very average, rooms dated but functional, clean, and mostly quiet. Staff is nice and friendly, and if you have a question, they find someone who speaks english. The hotel is a 10RMB ride to the port, and a nice walk amongst the working class shops and eateries. Fuzon is another hotel in Shekou popular with Europeans and Australians as well as with Asian customers. It offers excellent comfort and cleanliness with low rates (when you book online).
