Nice 4 star-category (IMHO) hotel. As with many buildings in Xiamen it seems as it could use some detailing, but in general is a good deal and nice hotel. Breakfast is very oriental. You can get a few western choices but 90% is chinese dishes. Services is excellent, in spite of the language barrier. i'd recommend it.
This hotel is connected to the Conference Centre which is a real bonus if you are working there. English speakers are a bit hit and miss at this hotel - some are excellent, some are appaulling which was a bit annoying when people are trying to call you in your room and can't be understood. As you would expect from a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, the Xiamen International Seaside Hotel has well appointed rooms and excellent service. Its main problem is that unless you are there for the adjoining conference and expo facility, it is a long way from the main town and attractions.
