Stayed here recently on Business, lovely Hotel in a splendid setting, little bit isolated but very nice and modern facilities, great room, great bed, didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on this..

Stayed several times in Xiamen over the last year for business (and pleasure) and tried several of the high-end hotels. The Meridien (7 stays so far) is a good choice if you dont mind having no bars and restaurants nearby. Le Meridien is a beaitiful hotel with a lot of attention to details, helpfull reception personel, nice rooms with very good beds and nice bathroom. Breakfast buffet with a lot of different kitchen styles. Dinner buffet is not really high end and drinks are expensive. 10 mins by taxi to city center.

Really nicely designed property built into the hills above Xiamen. Its a taxi ride from the city proper but its good to be away from the downtown hustle and bustle in peaceful surroundings . Nice gardens and layout around the property with good use of planting and water features Well worth a visit.
