This was an unexpected stay after the floods in Punta Arenas. The rooms are clean & tidy and quiet. Staff are friendly. Close to centre of Town so everything is within walking distance.

Stayed just one night on a stopover to Patagonia so didn't particularly care about the room. Most other travelers seemed to be in similar situation, my guess is the average guest stay in the hotel is 1 night with no repeat clientele so management has little incentive to care. And they don't.
We arrived at 4pm, room not ready. Even...

My husband and I stayed here for one night after our cruise from Ushuaia into Punta Arenas before heading to Torres del Paine. The rooms were large and the hotel was conveniently located close to the bus station and town. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, which was fine and took advantage of the free internet. Only complaint was...

The staff at Rey Don Felipe were very cooperative.. Great rooms and good dinner options at the Hotel. Perfect place to stay for trips planned to Isla Magdalena, Torres Del Paine.
Punta Arenas is a strange place--like going back an era. The wind is wicked and we were there in thier summer! We really did not know what to expect from this hotel--what a surprise--it was lovely. Very comfortable rooms, that were very clean. The staff were friendly and efficient. There is a small bar area , but we took our...

This hotel is located a short walk from the centre of the town in a quiet location. Our room was comfortable but there was a car park just outside the window and slamming car doors could not be avoided!
There was a very small bar and a nice little restaurant. In the bar area there were two computers for the...

The hotel was a very good surprise for us we did not expect such a high level hotel in such a remote town. The service at the reception was friendly and efficient. The room was very big with...

I booked a Junior Suite at this hotel, knowing that a Junior Suite is splitted in a bed area and a sitting area, optical divided! Not necessarily two separat rooms! At least a Junior Suite offers more space than a standard room! The hotel "Rey Don Felipe" in Punta Arenas has a very strange view of the expression "Junior Suite"....

We stayed in Rey Don Felipe in February 2012. It was a last-minute booking, but we had superb service from the staff, who were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had a set of difficult connections into and out of Punta Arenas and they were very helpful in accommodating us and sorting out some of logistical problems. A big thank you...

We took Cascada Expedition's advice (backed up by Frommers) and stayed here on the way to and from Torres del Paine park - so glad we did. Very clean, quiet, modern rooms - most welcome after many hours of traveling. Helpful and reasonably friendly front desk staff. The included breakfasts offered a tasty selection of typical foods, with attentive servers...
