We spent 3 nights there and we were a bit disappointed. For the same price in Siem Reap you can find better. The staff is nice, but the quality of the rooms are really poor for this price.

We stayed in a recommended hotel right on the river and decided it was way over priced for what we got. We walked down the street and just off the main road we found New Bequest. The hotel is located 2-3 small blocks from the old market as well as the bar and restaurant area, on a fairly quiet street. Rooms are clean, the air-con is quiet, there is hot water. Haven't tried the restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful.
