Nothing to criticise regarding rooms nor location. Spacious, clean, air-con and hot water and located just a few minutes walk from night market. Everything was just fine. It's just that the guesthouse was too big and it lacked the coziness one expected in hostel. Staff was helpful yet not as friendly as expected. They were just doing their jobs but... More

we stayed at this guest house for our Valentine get away this year. Channa was very patient in answering my emails. Our guide was also very friendly and I admire his tirelessness in getting us around the temples. The room is very spacious. Sheets are clean and changed daily. Toilet is clean and provided with toilettries, though I had to... More

Great place to stay to see Angkor Wat! We stayed here for 2 nights and it was good, the staff were very helpful but lack professionalism, but we got past that as we are in another Country. The pool is nice, but very warm as the water is in direct sun all day. The stairs are a killer, we were... More

We stayed at Tanei Guesthouse for 4 nights. It has a new and old building and we stayed in the old with airconditioning for $20 a night. The rooms are clean and large; very comfortable with fridge, cable, closets and large bathroom. The rooms are well maintained and the beds comfortable. The hotel has a pool which is an okay... More

My friend and I (two middle aged women) just spent 4 days 5 nights sharing a 2 single-beds room at Tanei. We requested and got a room on the 2nd (which turned out to be the 3rd cause for them 1st floor is ground), something I always do as a safety precaution. There was no elevator but the steps were... We recently spent 6 nights in the VIP room. The room was quite large and very reasonably priced. Our room(201) overlooked the front road, but we found it a little noisy (lots of dogs barking nearby and roosters crowing early) General road noise was ok after about 10pm. The breakfast was very basic, although adequate but we found the service... More

The guesthouse warmly welcomes any customer. The rooms are small and basic and relatively clean. They come with a hot shower and fan and are very well priced. The pool is in a nice tropical garden and well maintained. The food is ok but could be better. They can arrange different kind of daytrips to Angkor and also transportation. Overall... More

This guesthouse goes above and beyond what is included in the price. We stayed for 8 days and had the best time. The rooms are spacious and made up daily and the included breakfast is filling and tasty. The pool has a great vibe and is perfect to cool off after a hot Siem Reap day! The staff were very... More

I had a wonderful stay at Tanei Guesthouse. Loved the pool, the restaurant, the location, and most of all the incredibly friendly and helpful service. The rooms were nothing to get excited about but very clean with cold air conditioning. The pool/garden/courtyard is a welcome break from dusty, busy Siem Reap. My only note of caution is about reserving a... More

This was my first trip to Cambodia and I wanted to stay in a place that was affordable, central to attractions, clean and safe. Tanei Guesthouse was all that and more. I was met at the airport by Buut, their Tuktuk driver. The complimentary pickup service was a plus. Tanei was about fifteen minutes away a couple of blocks off... More
