We stayed here over the New Years period, and as such the students were on holidays for the first few days we were there. So it was quiet, clean, and fairly comfortable. A very nice hotel with very nice and friendly students learning/working there. We had a standard room for one night (which was ok) and the suite for two nights. Try to get the suite, it's excellent. And you support the education project with your stay.

Location is fairly central..bit of a back alley to get to but its quiet. The rooms are nicely furnished with silk throws and the like. Great little hotel where the perfect service is made by students funded by a NGO. The food is delicious as well and the service is really perfect and welcoming.

Our stay at Sala Bai was flawless. The room was comfortable, the staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive and friendly, and the restaurant downs stairs was superb. And it's all for a good cause. If you find yourself in Siem Reap, you need to stay here. There are only 4 rooms, so book if you can.
