We stayed at the Green Garden in 2010 and 2012 and absolutely loved it. What everyone says is true: the cheap rooms will give you a pretty bad taste; the second-floor rooms are to die for. On our first trip we looked at eight other small hotels, including the Banana, so we have a good basis for comparison. Indeed, you... More

A friend recommended this hotel. But we were disappointed. We were put in a delux twin room in the first floor. The window is very small with iron bars on it. The room is dingy and rundown. It is quite a bit of walking to the center along a dusty and polluted main road. We wanted to leave right away.... More

My friends and I stayed in the family room for 2 nights. This room is nicely decorated with beautiful furniture, and is very airy. You can relax or read on the balcony of the wooden house. The swimming pool was clean and shady, perfect for a rest after visiting the temples. Both nights, we had to wake up very early,... More

We arrived there around 6pm and only the rooms in the reception building were available. Looked quite gloomy, cold water, no breakfast. I was prepared to be woken up the next morning by the kitchen folks, since the rooms were located right behing the kitchen. Not only that, but some music played from 6am in the morning from somewhere outside... More

We stayed in a standard room for three nights here. We arrive off our bus at 2.30am rang the doorbell and were seen to immediately. Our room was basic and comfortable with ac, fan, fridge, tv and hot water. The electrics were a little scary though with a mass of plugs and extension leads. The staff were friendly and organised... I have stayed at this little guesthouse many times, and have never left disappointed. Whilst some people might find the cheaper rooms small, you get what you pay for. Whenever i stay in this hotel, i stay in one of the suites on the second floor of the wooden house, a large room with 2 beds (1 single,1 double) with... More

We discovered the Green Garden Home accidently while walking past it. And what a lovely surprise! The rooms, though a bit a run down boasted of loving effort to make them comfortable. The lobbies are filled with interesting artefacts, prints andd furniture. Amongst my favorite things about Green Garden Home was their use of the traditional Cambodian print in abundance... More

We loved our 3-night stay at this guesthouse. It neither suffers from being stuck in the tourist-trap area (although only a 5-10 minutes walk) nor is it a soulless international hotel stuck on the outskirts. There is a very nice clean pool, pleasant grounds, friendly staff, and a fair-priced restaurant for breakfast (and other meals if wanted). The guesthouse could... More

I've stayed 3 times at theGreen Garden. What attracts me is that it's small, only 2 storeys, it's attractive rooms (number 15 in particular) and it's lush courtyard garden around the pool. It's modestly piced, has a modest restaurant, and is 100m from an excellent supermarket. The Old Market, Night Market and the restaurant district are 10-15 minutes walk or... More

I discovered sweet Green Garden Home GH on my first visit to enigmatic Cambodia in 1997, ever since then on frequent re-visits GGH remains a very delightful place to stay while in Siem Reap. The manager, extended family & staff have always provided genuinely friendly, professional service with a smile, as well as offering trustworthy, reliable local knowledge & expertise.... More
