We stayed in Ancient Angkor villa for three nights. We were looking for something on the cheaper side and time was pushing us to choose some accommodation quickly. That is what we got. The hotel staff was great, good WiFi reception, good day light in the room, the room was cleaned every day, comfortable beds.Location was ok, 5 minutes to... More

The Villas (not to be confused with the more posh Ancient Angkor Hotel across the street) offers large, well-appointed rooms not too far from the madness of Pub Street. Our $12 room offered AC, a fan, hot water shower, US TV shows, access to two swimming pools, a comfy bed on the ground floor, free wifi, free internet use, a... More

I have been staying here for over two months as I am volunteering in Siem Reap. The staff are friendly, the room is large enough to be comfortable for long term living, the bathroom is roomy and quite suitable. The swimming pool is always clean and the Villa is close to the old market and Pub Street. The long term... More

I found the accomodation reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. The rooms were well appointed with a large comfortable bed, WIFI, air cond, fan and the bathrooms were clean. The hotel is on a small street close to the night market and yet it is only a short walk to the main shops/markets, pubs and the main restaurant areas. The Hotel... More

Although its not on the main pub street, it really isn't that important because of walkable everything in Seim Reap is. This room exceeded all expectations that we had. Most people who said it was 'ok' neglect to remember they are not shelling out big bucks, therefore, they cannot expect a 5 star resort. But for what you paid, this... More

We spent three unforgettable days in Siem Reap in June 2011 and stayed at Ancient Angkor Villa. Service, accomodation, attitude are amazing here and the prices are very pleasant! I recommend everyone to stay here!

The hotel is in a good location and for $13 per night for an aircon room with TV a person should hardly complain...but the bathroom was hardly functional. The cistern leaked, the sink was badly blocked and the tap over the sink was broken and had to be held by force over the sink. I checked out the Angkor Friendship... More

Ancient Angkor Villa offered me a very comfortable and clean room with fan for $10 a night. The location was good, close to the Night Market, but it was not at all noisy. The staff were very helpful, the guests were very friendly towards me traveling on my own, and there was a lovely little pool which was a godsend... More

I stayed a few days because it's really a pain to pack up and move with 2 kids. The staff acted stuck up...very odd for khmer people! Several times my son's sandles were missing, someone, I believe one of the staff members were "borrowing" them. The pool is filthy, some sweaty dude jumped in and even told us he was... More
