Stayin gin Angkor Star Hotel is a wonderful experience in Siem Reap. We didn't have any booking of hotel and the taxi driver recommended a hotel to us, it was a very good hotel wih reasonable pricing (according to him). We paid $30 for one night and escaped the next morning. We wondered alone Sivatha Road and checked out many... More

We stayed here last week as a family of five. The hotel is undergoing a lot of upgrading hence building works, mattresses in hallway etc. but if you can overlook that the hotel is clean, the staff are amazing and the food good. My family and I would stay there again - even just to see all the wonderful staff... More

After traveling for 5 weeks and staying in multiple hotels this by far was the worst. Half Agodas fault and half the hotels fault. The only way to describe the problems is by list form. Ironically this was the hotel we splashed out on! 1.We booked this deal due to the fact that it was described as half board with... More

this hotel is great value for the $30 - $35 range. Mr Chanty and his staff were on the ball and had some great local tips. If you want an inexpensive guide try the tuk tuk driver Mao (ph. 092966049), who is always parked out the front of the hotel. He's really honest and not bothersome. A rare find.

This is a well-appointed hotel at the right price. It has a good breakfast selection and the staff were very helpful, especially the staff supervisor Chanti. If you are looking for a great tuk-tuk driver Mr Mao is one of the regulars and we cant speak too highly of him. He speaks good english, knows all the local attractions and... More

Friendly staff but the lobby area is a bit too hot during the day time. The dining area too. But overall, my friends and I enjoyed our stay there.

We made a mistake when booking and accidentally booked for one guest instead of two so we had to pay an additional fee for each night of our stay but the manager at the front desk felt bad so he generously upgraded us to a nice large room with a balcony. The room was clean and the staff were excellent.... More

We stayed for one night at the Angkor Star hotel. The staff was very nice and the buffet breakfast is much bigger than most we have seen in SE Asia. However, we switched hotels the next day because this hotel seemed just average for the price. We moved to the Golden Mango for half price they had equal or better... More
