I am a photographer wannabe, and this was the first photo tour I have ever booked, in spite of my extensive travels over the years. I booked 2 tours - Angkor Wat and Kompong Khleang - we had great guides for both trips. Angkor Wat - our guide (Sorn) got us to the front of the temple before the crowds... More

Dave is a perfectionist and his guesthouse is the prime example of this. As you enter the spotless lounge to go upstairs you feel like you are about to meet royalty. The decorations are superb.. Amazingly clean and a class act. The tours above excellent and Dave has great knowledge of the surrounds. Quiet location and spotlessly clean. Unbelievable for... More

The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed staying there. The only negative was that the staff was not very reliable on wake-up calls or getting things like breakfast, take-ways and the like done on time, which can be a little distracting when you have your guide and driver - who were exactly on time - waiting for you.... We had a wonderful week in Cambodia last fall 2008. Though we went to see the fabulous ruins of Angkor Wat, we were most moved by seeing firsthand the spirit of the Cambodian people who have endured so much and have such high hopes for the future. We had a wonderful, kind guide Sorn Ke Nit who accompanied us daily.... More

Like other reviews, this small guesthouse is charming and quaint. Free pick-up from the Mekong Express Bus Station was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the location, being off the main drag, as Peace of Angkor is in a more quiet area. We had dinner one night in their restaurant--good selection and good food. When booking with the guesthouse & Den, we... More

It is regrettable that the guests were not happy with their tour. There was no requests at all in their several email communications that they wanted any special photographic input in the tour . We always ask in busy periods that Custom photo tours are booked in advance. The guide we allocated them is very experienced and took the guests... More

Actually quite good for the money you pay. Free pickup from the airport (but not to the airport). Our "standard" room was rather large, with a huge bathroom (full bath), the design somewhat eclectic - beautiful carved wooden doors coexist with ugly chipboard furniture, stucco mouldings on the ceiling with leak stains. Bed very large and comfy. Acoustics somewhat strange... More

I found Peace of Angkor through a reference on Trip Advisor and couldn't be happier with my experience there. As a solo traveler I was hoping to meet up with other interesting people and POA lived up to other reviewers' claims in supplying that. The rooms are basic but large and clean and, for $20 per night, once can't expect... More

As a keen photographer I wanted a place which understood my needs. Peace of Angkor Villa advertised that they would look after photographers with great trips and guides. They exceeded my expectations on both counts. I had fantastic tours and an awesome experience. I was met at the airport as promised and quickly taken to the Villa. Dave, the owner... More

My wife and I spent a whole week in Siem Reap. It's a very noisy city, so we were really happy that we found a quiet hotel. But the "Peace of Angkor" has a lot more to offer. It attracts seasoned travelers, so it was a pleasure to spend the evenings talking to the other guests. The owner is a... More

I just returned from Siem Reap. I have fallen in love with beautiful Cambodia! I will go back for much longer next time… I would like to comment on the Peace of Angkor Villa in Siem Reap.
