The location is a bit of the beaten track. Which is a GOOD thing! The main street in town is a bit chaotic for me. It's a 10 minute walk (or a $1US tuk-tuk ride) from the Pub Street/Old Market area. And about a 20-30 minute tuk-tuk ride to Angkor Wat. Alan, Khemrak and the rest of the gang go... More

I stayed at The Cashew Nut GH for 3 nights and it was very great stay. The room was basic and clean. Alan, the manager is very knowledgeable with touring and full of information. All staff were very very friendly and helpful and they always welcome with smile and tried their best to help. I was welcoming with cold towel... More

I spent 4 nights here last year in Jan 2012 when Cashew Nut was fairly new, and I cannot say how amazing Alan made my trip to Siem Reap. Alan gave me the best itinerary for my 4 day stay and helped me figure out my boat trip to Battambang. Although the guesthouse is a little far from the action... More

Location: A 10min walk to the Old Market and Pub Street. A 30min tuktuk ride to Angkor Wat. Breakfast: Included and very good. The usual cereals, toast and hot drinks with fresh fruit, yoghurts, juice and water. Pros: + The owner/manager Alan has English as a first language and knows his stuff. He helped us book a tuktuk to Angkor... More

Stayed with 2 girlfriends. Due the the reasonable price we all booked a room each. Nice big clean rooms with air con and bathrooms. Great roof top balcony to have a drink at the end of the day and look over Siem Reap. The staff were super friendly and the Host Alan went out of his way to make sure... More

We stayed here in February as part of an 8 month trip across SE Asia. We loved the place. .. Probably one of our favourite guest houses we've stayed at so far in our travels. Everything about the place was spot on. The staff were especially nice and friendly and spoke good English too. When we arrived the staff greeted... More

Based on all the positive review, I called after my bus arrived Siem Reap at 10. I was lucky to get in for one night only there. The guest house manager overflow me to the guest house opposite street. But they handled my laundry, and answered all my questions during the total 4 day there as if i were paying... More

The Cashewnut was by far the best guesthouse in our entire trip during 6 months in SE Asia. The lovely staff, the clean and comfortable rooms, and the yummy breakfast makes it a superb place to stay. The staff provides very useful information about Siem Reap, and other places in Cambodia and in SE Asia, so don't hesitate to ask!... More

What a fantastic guesthouse. Such great value for such a lovely stay! My boyfriend and I stayed here last week. After being picked up by their lovely tuktuk driver from the bus station and arriving at the guesthouse, we were presented with cold water and a cold flannel to wipe our faces with, we were explained to in depth about... We picked this guest house for a three night stay based on a previous guest recommendation and the reviews here. The positive comments are all spot on. Things we especially appreciated: friendliness and helpfulness of the staff; excellent value, connections to reliable tuk-tuk and car drivers, rooms that provide all the basics you need, excellent breakfast, fun rooftop garden. There... More
