Pleasantly surprised by this small guesthouse just off the main road in Siem Reap. Safe and within walking distance of shopping and many restaurants. Do be aware of some tuk tuks close to the hotel, always discuss a price before leaving for your destination.

clean rooms, staff were friendly and responsive, however my room was west facing so was a little hot in the evenings.

I turned up without booking at Ta Som Guesthouse and was greeted very warmly then shown available rooms. Nothing was too much trouble. Good location for short walk into main streets of Siam Reap. Free Wi-Fi in reception. Very friendly staff. Would recommend 100%

Besides the free breakfast don't bother with the restaurant. However, it was cheap convenient and had helpful staff.

A free tuk-tuk service from the guesthouse will take you to the accompdation on arrival if you notify the Owner in advance. Tasom Guesthouse is a great place for value. Not only is the customer service good, but the facilities (wi-fi, minibar, bicycle rental, free breakfast), location (relatively near to the markets and city centre), staff are also great (friendly and helpful). So we stayed here based on the great reviews. And we liked it. But it is a guesthouse, not luxury accommodations.
