Very clean and decent hotel while traveling in Benin. Nice pool, nice grounds, and very good clean restaurant. Rooms are clean and neat and well kept. Had a nice time in Cotonou. The city has many things to do and the hotel is close by most of them.

The Ibis is very clean, simple business hotel. It has what you need. Decent internet for Africa. Breakfast is good. The showers are great pressure and hot. It's next door to the Novotel, which has a better bar/restaurant which they are happy to share!
I stayed at the Ibis in Cotonou for a week. It was very clean - felt brand new, actually!, had great service at the front desk and in the restaurant, is very centrally located and was overall a great choice.
The hotel is very new, which makes it quite clean and well appointed. It's not a luxury hotel by any...

Cute hotel. Small (and I do mean small) trendy looking rooms. 26" flat screen TV. Beautiful grounds. Good breakfast. AC worked. Internet was painfully slow. I tried using their computers in the lobby and just gave up. Rooms a dead zone for blackberry data service, but calls worked. Shower leaked, so keep showers short. It's right next door to the...

I stayed here for one week. They require you to deposit some amount of money if you don't have credit card. Once the deposit used up, the room will be locked and they will ask you to deposit again to continue stay. Clean room, good wifi but no fridge/bar inside the room. The reception staff are not that friendly but...

It was a cool place anyway., offer break fast only. But you need to go to the town or nearby hotel for your lunch and dinner. There is now room service. Poor very poor. Envirolment clean. My room was not kept one day untill I complained the following day before they came to do it.
This hotel belongs to a worldwide brand. In that regard, nothing to say: comfort is there and wifi in all rooms. But very impersonal, and more important, the people at the reception are incredibly unfriendly. They never smile. For my check-in, I had to wait 15 mn to get my room and asked 900 euros deposit for 9 days (as...

It would be hard to lose anything in a room at the Ibis since all you get is a small box with an open hanging space and a couple of shelves. But the bed is comfortable, the sheets clean, the water hot, and relatively good wifi access provided for free. The bar/restaurant only serves light snacks but you have full...

Stayed at the Ibis for 4 nights in August 2009. The hotel is located about 5 minutes from the airport and about 10 minutes from center of Cotonou. The city is small so getting around is pretty easy. The hotel is located in the same complex as the Novotel.
The hotel is new and everything seems very clean and in...

I stayed 12 nights at the Ibis having been booked into the hotel by the organisation for which I was in Cotonou on business. I arrived later than my colleagues at 4 a.m. and was immediately asked for a cash deposit (as they don't accept mastercard). Although I was assured that I would get my USD back when I paid...
