We've been on a roundtrip on the west coast and this was our 7th accomodation. It was the best one for a very affordable price! Everyone was kind, the prices in the bar and restaurant were also great! I would advise it to anyone visiting the Death Valley. It's just about 35-40 minutes from the Furnance Creek.

We're visiting from England and needed a place to stay that was close to death valley, originally we planned to stay one night, but ended up staying three! And so far it has been my favourite hotel of the whole holiday! The rooms are well equipt with everything including coffee, hair dryer, TV, air con etc, and were a generous... More

So wasn't really expecting much since this area is just dead. Got in after dark and just before restaurant inside closed. Ate first...pretty basic but we were starving so it hit the spot. Found out the restaurant and little general store in the place didn't open until 8A the next morning so we bought some quick stuff to eat since... More

Working in Death Valley made the Longstreet very convenient to my job site, having stayed there before, I booked a room. The Longstreet sits in the middle of nowhere, just on the Nevada side of the line about 10 miles north of Death Valley Junction, the eastern approach to Death Valley. As I said, I have stayed there before, but... More

We stopped on our way to Death Valley from Lake Havasu. Not much around the hotel but was fine for our layover night. Room price was reasonable. They also had RV sites with some hookups.Staff seemed friendly. We walked around outside a little (felt like and looked like the middle of the desert), fed the ducks at the pond behind... More

If you want to see why I rated at only 3 skip to last paragraph. We visited the weekend where there was some sort of X-treme competition in Beatty (about 40 miles away). We were attending a volunteer event about 15 miles away from Beatty but every room there was booked. We got lucky and the Longstreet had a cancellation.... More

My friend and I came here after learning that our hotel in Death Valley Junction wasn't serving food. Our expectations were pretty low but we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food (fresh and nicely prepared) and of the service which was prompt and friendly.

I stayed here 3 nights when hiking in Death Valley. I was late booking and in park accommodations left were quite expensive for my needs. This worked. The drive back and forth was a bit of a drag but great scenery and a chance to rest after my hikes. Friendly staff and pretty good food.

After reading previous trip advisor reviews we decided to make reservations at Longstreet Inn and Casino. The non-smoking room was large and pleasant. Our dog was welcome (with pet deposit that was cheerfully refunded at check-out). We took the advice from several reviewers who suggested staying on the pond side. Good advice. Beautiful sunsets from the room! Peaceful and quiet.... More

Stayed for three nights at the Longstreet - it is 38 miles on very good roads (one lane each way of course) to Furnace Creek, which is probably the easiest starting point of any Death Valley meanderings. It is about 90 miles from Vegas. Certainly an unusual place, with the casino (several banks of slot machines) at one end, bar... More
