After having stayed at the Fairmont in Abu Dhabi several times, this hotel is quite a disappointment. The building could use a serious update. The lobby and restaurants look drab and depressing. Service was OK but slow -- it took us 30 minutes to get our car from valet! Overall, not to Fairmont standards.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. My wife and me, we had a two-room suite which was very big, and immaculate with a big bathroom and an additional WC at the entrance which is very convenient. The employees were always present when needed and helpful. Restaurant named “The Exchange Grill” deserves a visit as service and food qualities are excellent.
