decent hotel for this price range despite being a bit rough around the edges

The staff are friendly, in-house restaurant, walk to ferry to take you across the spice & gold souk, saravana's eating place and others in the vicinity, near the train and bus station. I took the bus to Ferrari World and back. You can buy a train or bus ticket and travel 'cause the cab fares to the malls were expensive.

We had to stay in this hotel courtesy Emirates air company. This can be the only reason for someone to pick this hotel for his stay in Dubai. The hotel is in a good position. The Meena bazaar and the gold souq are next to the hotel. The rooms were excellent with high quality of hygiene and standards maintained.
