I would not recomend this hotel for the following reasons,It is in a isolated area,(ie non tourist) the staff clearly didn't want to be there,it was an effort for them to perform their task. The noise from the on site disco resonated through the entire hotel (we were on the 7th floor) until about 3 am.The breakfast was average at best.... The staff are friendly, in-house restaurant, walk to ferry to take you across the spice & gold souk, saravana's eating place and others in the vicinity, near the train and bus station. I took the bus to Ferrari World and back. You can buy a train or bus ticket and travel 'cause the cab fares to the malls were expensive.

We had to stay in this hotel courtesy Emirates air company. This can be the only reason for someone to pick this hotel for his stay in Dubai. Upon arrival the receptionist was "doing us a favor" to check our group in. At the first floor of the hotel, a night club -full of "working" girls- was hammering the walls... More

OVERVIEW: Howard Johnson Hotel-Bur Dubai is a fairly average hotel. It is a slightly older property in comparison to other prominent hotels I’ve stayed at in Dubai. The hotel is somewhat outdated yet, clean and accommodating. TRAVEL DATES: May-2011 LOCATION: Situated in Bur Dubai approximately 20 minutes from Dubai Airport (DXB), at the intersection of Khalid Bin Waleed Street& Jumeirah... More

The hotel is in a good position. The Meena bazaar and the gold souq are next to the hotel. The rooms were excellent with high quality of hygiene and standards maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is exceptional be it Indian or Arabic. Had a great time in Dubai. Only issue is the WIFI connectivity, they should... More
