we had a great time at this hotel. The cutover service was great, when we arrived, one of the hotel staff gave us a tour of the surrounding area. The breakfast buffet was great and the rooms were amazing. The rooms had western style amenities, but had that Syrian charm. The rooms also featured really nice balconies which looked out... More

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights and loved the location, the clean well appointed room, and the cheerful staff. Just stepping out of door put us in the middle of a vibrant community of little shops, bars and restaurants of varying prices. Breakfast was a mixture of continental & Syrian, with plenty to to take your fancy. I... More

Charming hotel overlooking a small square in the heart of the Jdayde neighborhood of Aleppo. Our room was a bit small but immaculate, with beautiful stone walls, windows and a small balcony overlooking a peaceful square, and a nicely appointed bathroom. Internet access was free and reliable. Breakfast was very good, served in a light-filled room overlooking the square. We... More

By the end of our stay I really enjoyed this hotel. It's very clean and comfortable. The 2nd floor common area is very nice and we spent quite a lot of time there watching football and just resting as we had been traveling for a while. The entire common area has floor to ceiling glass overlooking the square. It's also... More

Nice rooms with stone walls, nice decoration and very modern/clean bathroom. 10-15 minutes walk to the souk and citadel. Very nice rooftop restaurant. Nice area with small shops and a square next to the hotel. We were driving a car and not able to find the hotel. We stopped somewhere not too far from the hotel, the owner of a... More

Great location, free internet that works (yes...anormally in Syria!), good breakfast, attentive staff and the room was spotless. It was definitely a great stay but a bit pricey at USD 170 for 2 adults and 1 child, especially in winter when it is not peak season!

nice small hotel, very hard to find. I paid 110$ for a night with breakfast for 2 persons. don't excpect a castle. you should eat at a restaurant nearby called I think Kasr al wali, excellent food a real 5 stars restaurant according to the Lebanese standard, price is around 25$ per person without alcohol. not bad,but a bit expensive

My husband and I spent 4 nights in the Jdayde hotel. We were very fortunate to have been able to book here. it is a very attractive boutique hotel, beautifully restored with comfortable and nicely appointed bedrooms. It is in a wonderful and convenient location. The staff were exceptionally helpful and nice. The buffet breakfast was delicious. The Jdayde is... More

We wanted somewhere elegant and well located for our first visit to Aleppo. The Jdayde is well situated on Al Hatab Square in the Christian Quarter (Jdayde) of the old town. This puts it a 10 minute walk away from the Souk, the Citadel and the great mosque. The setting is a million miles away from the noise, smells and... More

In front of a nice square, this quite and simple but elegant hotel has a motto: " A place to stay". We stayed 2 nights and it was a good experience.
