3-4 brownouts per day, dial-up speed wifi, ironing board stiff beds, mosquito infested property, third world cleanliness standards and an agonizing check out process with a multi-currency bill. All of this for USD100. This pretty much sums up the whole myanmar experience. Until room supply catches up with surging post 2011 demand, give this whole country pass. There are far... More

It's the staff that made this place. The hotel overall is looking a little tired, but the rooms are nice (we got a superior room at $70). The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good, given the decor it wasn't expected. The reality is Myanmar is struggling with the influx of tourists, there are more tourists than there are rooms... if you have traveled Myanmar before you will know that the overpriced hotels are everywhere, this is Myanmar for you at the moment wherever you go!! I stayed a total of 3 nights together with 4 others friends, we all liked very much this hotel, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Take the rooms that are in the inner... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in february. The hotels is far from the city center, so you need cabs to move yourself around. The area is supposed to be in a quiet area, however our room was next to another house with a lot of noisy people and cars. The room is very outdated. We had a very old... More

We paid U$ 60 per night for a standard double room in this hotel, which we felt was heavily over-prized. The furniture was worn-out and fixed with tape, it took ages until we got hot water in the shower and there were mice running along the reception. Breakfast was decent. Wifi is free but very slow. At night, it was... More

Pleasant hotel with a well maintained good-sized pool. Rooms, especially the bathrooms, are a tad jaded and could do with a makeover. Plumbing does not work as it should. Power cuts are frequent so have a torch close by....I got caught in the shower in the dark with shampoo in my hair! Staff are cheerful and helpful especially the receptionists.... More

Nice hotel with clean and comfortable room in a chalet. Got a room at the back with well maintained garden so it was really quiet. Restaurant serves reasonable and sizeable portion good food and even with extra 20 % for tax and service charges is still reasonably priced. Breakfast not too bad with plenty of fresh fruits, both in varieties... More

. The Hotel has individual chalets which are comfortable and adequate. The breakfast was good some western food as well as Asian. The hotel has a pool and its staff are most helpful. One drawback is that it is fairly remote from the centre of Mandalay. A taxi ride is essential as all the restaurants/Beer Bars are quite a distance... More

Small hotel, very run down, in grotty part of Mandalay. First room offered was dirty but after complain we were upgraded to nicer room in small back garden. Noisy from adjacent road but quiet at night. Aircon was needed and worked well. Good restaurant in hotel where we ate each night rather than qrisk walking or cycling to another place.

The rooms look old fashioned, but the superior ones are quite pleasant and comfortable. The bathrooms, though, are functional but in need of refurbishment. The restaurant is not particularly attractive but the food portions are generous, the quality okay and the staff good. The breakfast choice is limited but the food is acceptable The room we had which backed onto... More
