I spent 2 nights in this hotel. It is located in the middle of the city and the local tram station is in a few minutes walking distance so most of the sightseeings can be reached easily either by walk or with tram. “Excellent location, filthy Acropole hotel”

Did not find many options to stay in Alexandria on websites. Chose Acropole as price was 1/4 of next listed hotel. I slept in shack with chickens in Africa; at least it was basically clean. Why Acropole hotel will not keep the rooms clean to basic standard I do not know. To be fair. The beds and towels were clean.... More

The room was nice, the beds were clean but the shared bathroom was not as clean, the toilet was broken every morning and full of s***, but normally in the afternoon they had fixed it. We were promised a TV and after the third night (of 5) when we left the key in the reiception so the staff could bring... More

Well! this time we experienced history of Egypt, arriving at Cairo in january 2011 at the beginning of the protest and watching the celebrations from the balcony of The Hotel Acropole at Alexandria. The place is clean and just had a redecoration. The manager is still helpful (Was our second time). He volontary updates our room at a discount price.... More
