we get there a friendly service, during our busines trip to plovdiv. but we had been little bit surprised, because this novotel is pretty "oldfashioned" by its interiour and should getimmediate a "facelift". we had there two conferences and both are managed smooth and correct. breakfast buffet was average. coffee good. location is also good and in evening there had... When you see the hotel from the outside, you might think that you've come to the right place. Tidy outside with good-looking tennis courts and close to the Plovdiv Fair. Large internal spaces where after 22.30 hours you can see people who generally have no place there. The rooms are large, in the 80s they looked perfect, but today, no.... More

This is a large hotel primarily geared towards meetings, conventions and business people. The public spaces are huge with multiple entrances, levels, rooms, halls etc. However when I stayed here for 2 nites, it seemed like a ghost town and perhaps I was the only guest. Definitely, there was no one else in the breakfast room! The room is comfortable... More

the staff are really friendly and helpful, the downstairs is all a bit of fakery, bit tacky to be honest with pointless shops noone would buy anything from The pool is ok, although they always put too much chlorine in and it sends your eyes red, be aware though if you wish to swim here you must wear a swimming... Nothing special. The downstairs is all flash but the rooms are from the 80's. The nightclub can be fun at times and the drinks are reasonably priced. Pass on the restaurants if possible--there are plenty outside. The gym is decent, internet connection not so much. The town center is w/in walking distance and full of bars, restaurants and places to... More

A bland regular business traveller hotel. Reception staff good. Generally hotels in Plovdiv are of a medium standard at best. Characterless, Large 'cold' concourse. No friendly guests bar, only coffee shop style lounge or dodgy looking nightclub. Breakfast selection of a very poor standard for the price of the hotel.

It is an old hotel that has not been renovated for years. It is dirty and ugly. The location is bad as it is far from the central part of the town. The so called service is poor, the food in the restaurants is not good. There is no reason to go there.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights with a group. It was conveniently located being only a short walk from the centre and the public rooms were fantastic. Out room was perfectly good - bland as all chain hotels are- but clean and reasonably spacious. The food, however, was atrocious.Breakfast was OK but the two evening meals we had... More

This hotel would be great if it was near the city center. Still not bad although the rooms are a bit musty. Bathrooms are decent though and a 15 min walk or 5 min cab to center. Took home a good bit of LEV from the casino across the street too. :)
