Wilde Oaks is a PERFECT get away. It's so peaceful and pleasent you literally feel like the weight of the world is lifted from your shoulders. You can relax in the hot tub (on a Japanese style pavilion), explore the library, enjoy the deer crossings in the back yard, drink a glass or two of the complimentery wine, build a bonfire in the woods, sit in the sauna or relax by the fire while listening to music or watching any number of the large DVD collection on the giant flat screen. Oh, and I didn't even mention the ridiculously aweosme FOOD. Sue is an excellent cook and makes GREAT breakfast, using fresh veggies (from their garden) and all-natural ingredients. The only drawback is that Marshall MI (the nearby attraction city) is not as bustling as you would think / it used to be. Really though, I've been serveral times, usually for 2-3 nights and I only spend 1 day away from the wonderful inn. Oh, and the beds are the best beds I've ever slept on... serriously. Apparently there is a great deal of antique / second hand shops around, but I'm not really into that. I also love that it's only $100 a night. When you compare what you get at say, the Hilton, you'd expect to pay $200 a night or more. And honestly it'd still be worth it. In any event, if you're looking for a get away - GO HERE! PROS: Value Comfort Food Beds Casino / Shopping nearby Wild Life Ammenities Sue / Ed (and Tricker too), the best inn keepers around
