Someone told me the Park Hotel used to be the best one in Bihac, but it is now certainly no longer what it was. The corridors are dull and dark, the rooms cheaply furnished and the mattress squishy and uncomfortable. However, it is perfectly situated very near the city centre and the staff are very helpful indeed, the shower was good and there was a hairdryer. If you want to step back in time, then the Park is for you. When we were there we met lots of people from the former East Germany, and the hotel reminded me of communist-style hotels of the past. Avoid the breakfast, the muesli was awful, the cooked meats looked past their best and the fruit selection was battered bananas and cotton wool tasting apples. more
