This B&B was fantastic. Both the owner, Nela and Nina at the office treated us like family. We felt like we were their guests and not at a hotel. They shared their knowledge of their city, arranged for a tour guide to show us highlights and made us feel welcome at the end of the days in their very relaxing... More

Everything was perfect', the location is extremely convenient. The owner, Nela, hospitable and proficient in many languages including English. Lovely little garden to sit in for a rest while touring, and possible to have a glass of wine there in the shade. Bed linens and towels were of high quality, comfortable beds and impeccably clean throughout. The tourist agency located... More

From the moment we arrived it was obvious we'd found a home in Mostar. Following a bus tour of Croatia, and 7 nights in large impersonal hotels, this extension at Villa Fortuna has been a wonderful base to explore the town. We booked a private walking tour through the Fortuna travel agency. The friendly staff at the B&B have answered... More

After a hectic week travelling the Balkans it was great to find the Fortuna to relax at. All you would want from a hotel, clean, good size rooms, lovely courtyard to sit. We had early start next day and guy even was to drive to bus station but realising his car had been 'borrowed' paid for the taxi! 5 minutes... More

the place is pretty good clean room with private bathroom and the best thing about it is that is 2 minutes from the old town area and watering hole in the garden where you can have a beer at home where the day was dying

Villa Fortuna is just up the road within short walking district of the old center. The rooms are EXTREMELY clean and are are great value. The on site parking is a real plus. The rooms are very quiet and the breakfast was excellent. The owners also own a travel agency and so if you need a private tour in town... More

I arrived early and was greeted by the wonderful hostess. She showed me to my room and upgraded me to an apartment. It is lovely!! Everyone who works there is pleasant and helpful. Plus, since they run the travel agency, they have excellent advice to give. The breakfast was E5 additional but served nicely with meats, cheese, breads, fruit, coffee... More

We stayed here for one night in late August 2012 during our motorbike tour of the Balkans. The location is perfect, less than five minutes walk from the old town of Mostar. The house is very comfortable and features a lovely garden with bar, perfect to relax in at the end of a hot day.

Having forgotten to mention we were traveling with a toddler, host Nela upgraded us from a double room to an apartment for no extra charge. Even without this bonus, Villa Fortuna is a great place to stay. A1 location just 2 mins from the Old Bridge, excellent breakfast, good value and staff all super helpful. Getting into the parking lot... More
