Hotel is perfectly situated to visit the main city - about 20minute walk or Gruz harbour in the opposite diection about the same distance. Rooms were adequate and comfortable. Breakfast selection was very good - hot and cold buffet and plenty of it. A smallish but lovely swimming pool with sun loungers was available along with a spa area. A... More

We visited Lero twice this year on a bussines trip. Nice location, quiet but within walking distance from the Old town. Rooms are big and clean, but furniture is a bit "out-of-date".. tv rather old and small. Our room was not facing the sea, but was overlooking back yard full with aircon vents. I believe only "superior" rooms have sea... More

I stayed at Hotel Lero during the last week of April 2012. I booked this hotel because the hotel I would normally use in Dubrovnik was fully booked, I had read some of the middling comments left on Trip Advisor & was slightly concerned. I needn't have been because the Lero is a great place to stay in Dubrovnik at... More

Lero is fine. An uphill walk from the old city, clean rooms. When I was there, the pool was not for swimming in, which was a pisser, and something I feel I should have been told about when booking/checking in. Not sure what to say. At Dubrovnik prices, I am told it is good. So, I guess it is. A... More

At first we thought staff not very friendly but maybe our Aussie charm won them over and by the time we left 5 days later they were all smiles and couldn't have been more helpful. Bus stops almost out door 10kn ticket can be purchased from hotel or various kiosks, shops but must be used within a narrow time frame.... More

Hotel Lero is nicely located quite close to the old city in Dubrovnik. You could walk, I took the bus which runs just outside the door. I had a rental car but knowing that parking downtown is a nightmare the bus was very convenient. The hotel is quite modern and the reception lady was friendly. However, when I walked into my... More

The hotel is within walking distance of the old town (15mins) ,very clean and well equipped, staff were very friendly and helpful.Staff arranged restaurant bookings and called taxi's, as well as providing advice regarding places of interest and bus timetables.Plenty of choice for breakfast(one of the party is a vegeterian). Taxi's were reasonablely priced and readily available.Bus service was good.I wouldn't... More

We stayed in Hotel Lero during May 2011. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast menu was able to cater for all our needs. Hotel staff were friendly. Bus stop located outside front door provided easy access to all parts of Dubrovnik. The downhill walk to the old town was easy just 10 -15 mins.

Due to a booking error by our travel agent, we had to have our room changed on arrival which was late at night, during shift changeover. The guy who took over was fantastic and went out of his way to ensure the new room was at least the same standard as our initial booking. The restaurant staff at breakfast were... More
