Stayed for 3 days, Dubrovnik is a small city so getting about is easy, made even better if you have a hire car. Martin our host could not be more helpful, he has learnt from previous reviews and made changes, it was a joy to stay here, would highly recommend. More

Stayed in Villa Borna for 2 weeks in August 2011. I honestly cannot fault anything about this place. The accommodation is top class, clean, tidy and maintained. The location is excellent for Lapad and is just a short spin on the bus to the Old Town. Martin the host was excellent and helpful. The place is like a home away... More

My family stayed here for 5 nights in 3 apartments. Although differing a little in size each one is well appointed and spotlessly clean. We all ate together outside on the terrace. We found Maritn to be a great host and was keen to do anything to ensure we had a good stay. It is situated a short walk away... More

It has a spectacular view from the top of a hill where you can see the water and the city. Martin is a little bossy as he is a German (as he say) and everything must be in place (no pool after 22:00, curtains must be closed when the sun is bright and the cooler is on-just to save energy).... More

Our room was spacious, clean and Martin was a fantastic host. We enjoyed the view from the pool and our room. Old town is just minutes away by cab and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at a restaurant of Martin's recommendation. He was also so kind as to take us to the airport, thanks again Martin! More

The flat is decent and not wonderful. The price is, definitely, too high for the standard offered by Villa Borna. At the beginning the owner seemed nice and kind, then he started to control everything, he went several times into the room when we were out to check that everything was ok. I felt to have no more privacy and... More

Three of us stayed in a studio apartment at Villa Borna for 5 nights. Martin and his wife are great hosts - very friendly, helpful and Martin is always up for a story and a laugh! The apartments are spotless and brand new. The pool and terrace areas are lovely. 3 mins walk from a supermarket, 5 mins from a... More

Myself and two girlfriends just spent 5 nights at Villa Borna. We shared a room with 3 beds with a kitchen and good sized bathroom. Even though we were 3 in a room there was still ample space and each apartment has shared outdoor space with chairs and table. The swimming area is lovely, the pool is well kept and... More

We stayed for 1 week in apartment 2 - a studio with a double bed and two smaller beds for our 2 young children - sounds crowded but it was fine, especially as we ate at our patio table outside. The pool was good - bigger than it looks in the pictures - about 8 metres I would say, so... More
