Just a few short minutes and a block and a half from the main entrance to Diocletian's Palace, the Villa Olea appears unassuming from the outside, but inside it is surprisingly comfortable. “Great Location for exploring Split - room was fairly basic”

The Villa rooms are just 100m outside the Old City of split on a quiet road so the location cannot be beat. The room was nice if basic and quite expensive though

We stayed at Villa Olea following a week travelling around Korcula and Hvar, where Hotels were badly in need of redecoration and air con was unavailable. This is a pristine, beautifully decorated little hotel or guesthouse. Very comfortable. The staff are very enthusiastic and welcoming. Villa Olea does not offer the usual hotel facilities - hair dryer, packs of toiletries/shoe shine kit, mini bar, room service, coffee/tea - but if you rarely use these services you won't miss them.
