El Convento is an exceptional boutique hotel, in a great location with walking distance to everything Antigua has to offer. El Convento is a small quiet hotel. The rooms are very big and have a feel of real luxury. The breakfast was delicious and the location is very convenient. Perfect for travelers that enjoy small luxury properties. Great beds and beautiful bathrooms. Still maintaining local flavor...loved it.

My wife and I spent our 15 anniversary in this hotel, in a Suite. The hotel is gorgeous, the doors to the rooms in the first floor are wooden and are carved with different motifs. I can't imagine finding anywhere nicer to stay in Antigua. The rooms are so cozy and inviting. The fireplaces are a nice touch. All the decor is great and it really feels like the perfect little hideaway.
