Excellent experience with Spencer making reservations, really looking forward to this stay ;)
Stayed in the older, non-tower section. Easy check-in. Room was decent size. Bathroonm also fair size. I guess everything was "ok". A couple of suggestions for the "resort".... time to upgrade. We got a room with 2 double beds, could easily have 2 queen beds in there. Pillows were not good. TV was still an old tube TV, really? Staff...

Friendly staff and room windows that open were plus points. Beds were comfortable and I used the gym and pool at the huge sports center/spa, which includes large tennis facility. Had a conference rate which made the stay a good value. The area is beautiful. One item was just too bad - the place would be a perfect sports and...

Mediocre best describes our experience. Just a two night stay for a conference. First room had two single sized beds. Was surprized as usually when we've had two bed they are usually queen or full. The water in the shower was either too hot or cold, perhaps because of heavy use in the morning. We never got the wake up...

There is no place more gorgeous than the Sleeping Bear Dunes/Traverse City area of Michigan. I have stayed here several times for business. i don't think I would choose such a large venue if on my personal time, but it is a well maintained place with very friendly staff and nice rooms. I am not a golfer, but those who...

Spent the weekend here and really great stay. When I found out I had a room on the main floor just down the hall from the hotel bar I was a little concerned about the noise. Nothing to be worried about! The room was very nice, bed comfortable, and operational windows appreciated. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. There...

If you like golf this is your hotel, I think your best bet is to book at the condos especially the shores, they are beautiful , the forest is very nice and you get to be near the lake, the hotel tower is just a regular hotel like you see in any other city nothing special except you're closer to...

Headed to Traverse City to The Grand Traverse Resort and Spa for a Mother's Day "getaway". When I booked our reservation not once did it say that all the dining areas would be closed that evening. We anticipated a nice dinner at Aerie, which lists it's dinner hours on the website as 6-10pm for Sundays. It was closed. The Sweetwater...

I have stayed here with my friends for the past five years - we go about once a year. Relaxing, beautiful, and the food is great. The beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to stay. I have never had a negative experience here.
My husband came here for business and told me he was staying at a really nice resort so I went with him. We were put in a one bedroom condo off property so couldn't easily enjoy the amenities. They did exchange our room for a different building when I asked for something closer or at least a "better view "....
