My wife and I have stayed at the Centre Street Inn each summer for the past ten years. Fred & Sheila are always great hosts and very accomodating. The location is perfect - just a short walk to town. Highly recommended!

This cosy inn reflects the true spirit of Nantucket. Furnished like a true home where the inkeepers love to have visitors. Fred and Jean were respectful of our privacy, but open and willing to share island stories when we asked. The bedroom was charming, the shower was terrific, and our stay was refreshing. We will come again and recommend it...

We just spent three nights on Nantucket at this very delightful inn. We flew in to the airport and the taxi driver knew exactly where to go. With such a convenient location, we were able to walk to town in five minutes. The room was cozy, comfy and tastefully decorated...and clean! The large stone patio is a plus for dining...

Perfectly matched my expectations for a charming B&B in Nantucket. The property was a short walking distance from the ferry, even walking w/bags (saved us the cost of a taxi) and the absolute best location for frequent shopping / dining trips downtown. It's nice to be removed by a street or two from downtown to avoid the noise, but at...

For $250 a night at a B&B, you'd expect at least a hello when you checked in. I see now that others had similar experiences with the owners who never even introduced themselves to us. They are not what you would call hospitable. The one young girl (late teens or early 20s) who worked there was very nice and tried...

First time visitors to Nantucket found the B & B via LivingSocial. Sheila and Fred were very welcoming and their home is warm and inviting. We stayed in the "Christmas Day" room. The bed was very comfortable and room clean. Great location... walking distance to center of town. Wonderful restaurant right next door. We didn't rent a car.1 day we...

The location was great but the inn needed major updating. door did not close, extra aerobeds they gave leaked air, matresses were worn out. They ran out of the meager breakfast they offered - stale cheerios, raisin bread. The main thing was - the owners, Fred and Sheila -...

I've read some of the 'great' reviews...well okay .but i dont think we were at the same Centre Street INN..
When making reservations by phone the innkeepers were very rude and told me to make reservations online! On arrival no one was around. I waited in the common area which had what looked like garage-sale nic-knacks thrown randomly around the...

My girlfriend and I stayed at this Inn for three nights. We were very excited to find an Inn with a room with two beds and so close to the town of Nantucket. Unfortunately we did not like the Inn as much as we hoped. Our room, Valentine's Day, was very nice, large, clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom...
