My husband and I arrived home from Norfolk Island yesterday. We stayed is a self contained cottage at Hillcrest Lodge. If you are in a quandry about where to stay at Norfolk, look no further and book a cottage at Hillcrest. The cottage was spacious with a King size bed and an incredible view. It was within walking distance to... More

The hotel room overlooked beautiful views of the ocean and even inside, the things were nice and definitely worth mentioning, specially the cleanliness and comfortable bed. Luxury is not something that welcomes you at Hillcrest, but you will love the way their staff maintain hospitality and do the interaction with their guests. About the views, the most said would be... Thank for your comments - what Hillcrest lacks in luxury we try to make up by doing the extra in our customer service. We try to ensure that all our guests enjoy their stay & go away with lots of "warm & fuzzy" feelings about Norfolk Island & particularly Hillcrest. Your feedback is important. Thank you Ann & Alex More

We stayed in a motel room at the Hillcrest for a week at the end of July. It is in a great position, a 10 min stroll, if that, into town. Lovely and quiet. It has wonderful views and the staff there are great. Nothing was too mnuch bother. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. While we loved... More

Double LJ's Thank you for your great comments. We appreciate all feedback & the problem with heating is one that arises from time to time. There is no form of heating in the motel rooms - normally not a problem - but we have had a colder winter than normal this year. Electric heating & cooking on Norfolk Island is... More

We booked online in advance (via credit card). Pickup from the airport was arranged, and we were lucky and upgraded to the queen suite, which basically had a large terrace facing the great ocean view, huge bed and spacious room, with ktichen, welcome hibiscus flower on the bed, nice bathroom. The pilots (usually just one plane arriving a day) stayed... More

We visited Norfolk Island in July 2011 and stayed at the Hillcrest. The staff were fantastic and this three star hotel does not pretend to be anything else. We paid extra and upgraded to a cottege which were more private and excellent, spacious but not Luxurious. If you are on a budget the standard hotel rooms may be OK.

Great location, central to Burnt Pine and only a small drive to Kingston and beautiful Emily Bay. We loved it! The cottages have great views and are relatively private. Nothing was too much trouble. Food in restaurant was also great. Best pick from our point of view. Reasonably priced.

My friend and I stayed for 10 days in a very quiet cabin at Hillcrest hotel and holiday appartments. It was divine. A short walk from the great shopping centre but still quiet enough to hear the surf in the background. No use being on Norfolk if you don't have a view. We self catered and although groceries are more... More

My husband and I recently stayed on Norfolk Island for a week. I booked our accomodation at "The Hillcrest", through Wotif and then communicated very easily through email with the hosts to arrange pick up at the airport and any other queries we had. We were greeted and picked up at the airport by our host and driven to the... More

Really good place to stay, and among the cheapest places to stay on Norfolk Island. It is close to the airport and Burnt Pine. We were given free transfers to and from the airport. The continental breakfast included in the room price is excellent and a great way to begin the day. The staff are friendly and helpful, the laundry... More

My husband and I recently had a week on Norfolk Island and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed at Hillcrest in one of their cottages. It had great views, was close to the town and was very comfortable.
