Had a long chat with management last time I was here, only 1 cd was ever played, front terrace could look attractive but candles lasted 1 day, so much potential but just not used. 5 star breakfast it wasn't, even then baine marie's weren't lit so 'hot' food was cold, OJ was yuk... 2nd stay (not my choice) no improvement

dark a little outdated rooms, basic friendly staff, odd and loud music in elevators, rich breakfast, internet of poor quality. This is certainly not a 5 star hotel. It is a normal 3 star hotel (not 4, not 5).

Rooms are nor big but nice and classy in a pleasant way. Shower requires a degree in Macedonian Shower Operations. Air conditioning did not work despite 28 degrees outside. My flight got in at 1am being delayed from Belgrade and the staff gave me the quickest and easiest reception! Excellent and friendly staff, great breakfast, and the hotel itself is exquisite and palatial. The hotel's strongest point is its location and views: even from the first floor bedrooms, you have an amazing view: you can see everything from Alexander's state to the old fortress, including of course the beautiful stone bridge.
