Spent two weekdays at this hotel. Superior from the get go, all personnel happy and friendly and never pass by without a greeting. The hotel was hosting some convention business so when they are out of the meeting rooms you kind of have to wade through them to catch the elevator to your room. The restaurant is very good and... I was attending a day-long conference at the hotel sponsored by my company, Teachscape. The conference hotel was easy to get to, just off the highway and included free parking. I've seen this hotel floor plan before, so I know the hotel has been around for a while. Yet the decor was updated and the maintenance was spotless. The grounds are... More

The front desk staff at the Doubletree in Annapolis were fantastic. When we first arrived, we were initially put into a handicap accessible room. The woman checking us in, told us to stop by in the morning and they would work to move us into a "normal" kind size room without us asking. It seemed like they needed the room,... More

First time in Annapolis, Capitol City of Maryland. Business brought me here. Was warmly greeted with a smile, handshake, and chocolate chip cookie. Had a comfortable room (see pix). Had a wonderful view of the highway. Hotel offers free shuttle service to downtown attractions. Shops, stores, and restaurants are within a short one block walk of the property--downtown area is... Stayed here nearly a week with several family members from California. Checking in and out was super fast. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly, especially our fantastic shuttle drivers who got us everywhere on time all together. Great location, free parking, hotel clean, nice dining room, and beds and pillows were super comfortable. Seating areas scattered about... More

The best way to sum up this property is mixed bag. The lobby area has been nicely done, hard to tell if recent renovation or not, but there are some significantly dated areas in this hotel. Elevators, I think the elevators, if Otis, were from Elisha's era - they are OLD. Most of the hallways, especially near the convention area... More

We've been living on rented furniture while our "cloud" bed is in storage 1,500 miles away. When we arrived at midnight for a burial at the Academy the next day I thought I'd be up all night. Slept like a baby. Great bed and pillows. No smoke smell on anything. It's basic but the folks at the desk were nice... More

Stayed here for a conference, preplanned by site selection. So, this is not a place I would have stayed on my own. Check in Efficiency depends on prior event. A lot of conferences take place at this location. My room took some time and they were booked up to be ready. Check out was easier. Rooms I got to see... More

My husband and I stayed here recently when a previous hotel we were at was not quite what we expected. The doubletree was fantastic!! The hotel is large and there is free parking. There is also a free shuttle that will drop you off and pick you up in downtown annapolis. The bed was also very comfortable. The staff was... More
