It was once only the only decent place to stay in Alexandria and I stayed there a number of times. A small nice hotel in a nice setting on the bayou. Nice rooms, but not worth the price. Promoted as a small boutique hotel-they were very proud of its rooms. Probably needs to be run by a hotel chain that... More

The hotel appears decent as you drive up, you soon realize the age of the place as you walk thru the doors. This hotel is in dire need of some TLC. - The carpet is just disgusting. -The furniture and TV's are what you might expect to find in a swap meet. - After your nights sleep on a worn... More

We relocated to Louisiana about 5 years ago from Chicago. This place was pretty nice 5 years ago when we stayed.... We have family in and out of town on a regular basis. I recommended to them the Parc England instead of the newer chain hotel in town, for a change. I have to say, when we went to visit... More

A business trip to Alexandria required an overnight stay, and I am pleased that we found the Parc England. Such a nice surprise to find a boutique hotel with the most amazing, friendly staff and great rate. The room was spacious and elegantly furnished. The huge bathroom had a separate tub and shower with nice tiled floor. Basic continental breakfast... More

I recently spent 1 night at the Parc England in Alexandria while in the area on a business trip. I selected the hotel because of its proximity to the airport and the free shuttle service offered to the airport. The hotel is renovated VIP housing from the former England Air Force Base. The hotel is nicely decorated with antique furniture,... More

I have traveled to this area numerous times on business, and once I found Parc England I won't stay anywhere else. I've had several bad experiences with lower-tier chain hotels in this area, but this little gem is always wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, with excellent beds and huge soaking bathtubs. Lower floor rooms open onto a large shared patio... More

The best part about Parc England is the Bistro on the Bayou next door- absolutely delicious! The hotel itself is a nice conversion from the VIP housing it used to be when Alexandria still had the Air Force base. However- the walls could definitely use some reinforcements- we could hear our neighbors ALL of the time- snoring, talking. Other than... More

First of all, Parc England is visually beautiful. It's refreshing to look out the window and see rolling green and trees, instead of buildings. The hotel itself is charming, with an antique-y feel. We booked a double bed room, but found the beds to be full-size, not queen. The TV was an older model (e.g. not a flat screen) but... More

From the moment the hotel shuttle picked me up at the airport I was happy. The drive was short and the gentleman was helpful and friendly. When I arrived at the hotel the gentleman working the front desk was very welcoming and had a smile on his face. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was... More

The Parc England Hotel is located very close to the airport in Alexandria. The room we had was nice and large. The bathroom was large with a shower and tub, also all amenities one would need. The only thing that was not so great was the freezing cold room, what we could change, it was a bit noisy though. The... More
