We had no water so could not even wash in the morning before travelling to the airport. Manager claimed that it was not the hotels fault so they would not refund. I stayed at the Esplendor for two nights. My room was a one-bedroom suite with wonderful, contemporary amenities. Was high up on the 40th floor, so the views were beautiful, night or day. My only problem was the phone never worked. While I did report the problem, it was never properly fixed. Buffet breakfast was ample.

I travel to Panama often on business and stayed at Esplendor to try something new. My experience was similar to the negative reviews shown below. This hotel is in the heart of the financial district. I had the smallest available room and it's about 1000 square feet. King Size Bed, 2 Baths, Nice Kitchen and Office. What I like most about Esplendor is the fact that rooms are big, well-equiped, luminous & offer a great panoramic view of the City. The lobby of the hotel is small but very sophisticated. Service is good compared to other hotels in Panama.

We always end our stay in Panama with a 1 or 2 night stay in Panama City because of it's close proximity to the airport.
