Hotel Continental is like a time machine. It offers a trip to the past to the golden Yugoslavian times. Being the largest and the most exclusive hotel 20 or so years ago, now it only kept the size to remind you of its previous glory. Everything in that place is old, but still charming. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is... More

Dirty, old and worst sleep ever!! Excelent location if attending a conference! By the way the conference center was excellent in the 70's, but in the present is as old as the hotel ... A renewal is urgently required!!

This announced "4 stars" has a value, in my opinion of 3 stars. Rooms are old fashioned and not sound proofed, nice lobby, a fitness/swimming pool. The worst was the fact to have a nightclub right behind so avoid to take a room with a odd number otherwise you won't sleep during the w/end. Breakfast was ok for a 2... More

A nice hotel but it felt like you was on the wrong side of the river. The new Belgrade is not the place to be for night life or meeting local people. Breakfast ok, staff really good and nice but the Wi-Fi might have worked better in the rooms.

The hotel is getting old and not maintained well in my opinion. For a hotel I would give it 3stars! Public areas are not very clean, could improve at least. Rooms ar OK but not more. The first disappointment came when we ordered a French onion soup at the restaurant in the hotel, the restaurant wad recommended by the front... More

This hotel was a grand 1970s hotel which hasn't realised time has moved on. The decor is extremely dated, and the furnature looks and feels like it is still the original furniture. My room had a bed that bowed so badly in the middle, I could not get a decent nights sleep. The service was nothing special, despite the fact... More

"old lady", previously the pride of the city, today is ruther worned and old mega-building, but still with good hart. for the interiors (like bathroom) the rating must be even lower, but for people, food and especially for atmosphere, the hotel is still worth visiting. i would like to recommend this hotel for business people travelling alone, because the lobby... I travelled to this hotel from Pristina at the weekend on an organised trip. The hotel was chosen for us by the organisers and I was quite horrified to read the previous reviews. The hotel is huge and situated within a business park on the north side of the river, the main town being on the other side. Reception was... More

This hotel was probably built in the 60's or 70's. The hotel seems to be stuck in this time. Surely it has not been renovated or in anyway updated since it was built. I guess in some ways anachronism can be sort of cool. But not in this case. I stayed in a standard room. The bathroom is probably the... More

It's last chance to visit Hotel Continental in the current shape. It will be closed in June 2012 to be refurbished and reopened in 2013 as Crowne Plaza Belgrade. So for the amateurs of late 70's style it's a rush hour. The only chance to see the decors, ancient TV sets, aircon controls, furniture in their original status (welll -... More
