Excellently located hotel. If you are looking for a typical three star chain, this is not it. Old and a bit crumbly but it has everything you need. Good bit of space and very clean. For price and location hard to beat.

Me and my friend travelled to Bucharest on snowy and freezing February. We were extremely on budget but still wanted to stay as central as possible.
Well, the location is amazing: subway in 5 mins walk, 15 min walk to restaurant/pub area, it is as central as it can be.
Hotel is very dated but it has this kind of...

Looking for the perfect 100 years old ultracentral quaint hotel in Bucharest? This is my best recomandation!
Allthough it was a last minute decision, I knew this beautiful building for a long time, having lived nearby for 5 years. One of the keepers of the genuine spirit of “Little Paris”, the hotel has been last revised some long time ago...

Quite an old building in an ideal location. The receptionist was helpful. Breakfast - don't expect much, it's a very moderately "ok" breakfast. And please go easy on the breakfast lady, she doesn't speak any English.
Excellent location is a big plus. It takes only about 10 minutes by foot to the Old Town. Decent room and breakfast and 1 super-sexy receptionist made it a good stay. A minus: a bit noisy on the square outside.
The hotel is located near Piata Universitii and easy to reach. The area is fairly quiet, even if centrally located. The single room was simple and clean, as well as the bathroom. The staff was polite and not very talkative.
If you value location & price then certainly consider this hotel, though I wouldn't recommend it to people who like a perfect finish as it is a bit tatty with creaky floorboards. On a busy roundabout so traffic noise can be disturbing - ask to avoid a room facing the front. Also of note is the rather stroppy breakfast lady...

I booked a room for five nights with my brother. The location is superb, near public transport and a short walk from old town. The room was like an apartment, with tv, mini bar, and airco (it was 33 degrees outside so this was very welcome!)
For breakfast you had five options, cooked by mutti on demand. Our only problem...

This hotel is a nice spot with some nice places to visit around it. There is a really cool restaurant near-by (pretty touristy) where they have nightly traditional singing/dancing and that was really fun. Picture of part of the menu attached and a picture of the singing/dancing.
The rooms in the hotel are bare-bones and the beds are really, really...

Room was very large and pretty clean. Its one of those places where I can understand why people give it 1 star rating whilst others give it 5. Its pretty clean but people need to understand that its an old hotel so isnt going to be the same standard as a modern Novotel etc. I thought the 2* rating of...
