An excellent location, great hotel, great staff...room was what we expected...the lobby bar is a great place as you can sit inside or out. Very reasonably priced place to stay, and close to where you need to be.

I've stayed there for one night, as I've decided last minute to extend a booking at the Hilton Athenee Palace and they were fully booked - so had to switch to Double Tree. I was able to book a Junior Suite with Hilton Honors points - strangely it was the ''cheapest'' (number of points) room I could get. Very spacious,... More

Double Tree by Hilton is a pretty safe choice so I knew what to expect. Hotel is okay, clean and very good staff. It is however pretty soulless and no atmosphere at all. You do not really want to spend any time there and unlike other hotels where bars, restaurants etc... Can be nice places to send a few hours... More

The hotel is decent enough, looks and feels modern, friendly staff, renovated including a nice enough breakfast. What might be a problem is the fact that you have no control over the temperature in your room. In the winter you have to live with their temperature or you can set it higher. When i stayed my room was a tropical... More

Stayed here for the second time after having stayed previously at the Athenee Hilton that has become overpriced since their latest renovations. Reception and breakfast service was good, very professional and attentive. The room was oddly shaped with a fake terrace that made the practical size of the room small to say the least (previous time I had been upgraded... More

Before I booked a hotel in Bucharest, I doubted between the Doubletree and the Hilton in Bucharest but my decision was quickly made when I checked the rates. The Doubletree was less than half the price of the Hilton Athenee hotel. After I booked my two night stay I emailed the hotel, actually I only could find the email of... More

There is a lot to like here: very comfortable rooms, helpful staff, solid internet, decent breakfast. No problems. I agree with the others that the location is not so great, since there isn't much within easy walking distance. If you can deal with that, this hotel seems like a good value choice in Bucharest. Unirii square is about 1 mile... More

Nice and clean hotel. Rooms to the streat are quite noisy. Breakfast on the 9th floor is fantastic. Walkable distance to the center. Some rooms could be smaller, but nice. I will stay in this hotel again.

Stayed one night late December in this hotel and the 3 month old facelift was worthwhile. The hotel is not really in Unirii Square but the location is still convenient. Also, great price for quality and service. Great value. Good sized room.

Stayed here for three nights last week. Great English speaking staff. Upgraded to a Junior suite Location is a bit out from - everything? Not a lot of restaurants nearby, good 15 minute walk to a place to eat. Actually not a lot nearby. Unirii Sq is over a mile away, that's a long walk in the rain. Directly across... More
