My family and I had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott in Bucharest and I would greatly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Romania's capital. I have traveled around the world and I consider this hotel easily top notch. Aside from the luxury of the reception hall, our room was gorgeous with very comfortable beds, and a... More

Service is good by Marriott standard. Breakfast is very good as well as steak house in the same area. Only down side is wellness which is open for public, busy and below expectations. THey should work on front desk improvement. More than 3 persons on desk makes them confused.

The rooms are gargantuan. The lobby rivals many palaces. Service is definitely high-end. Lounge was dissapointing in its snack selection but breakfast was giga-normous

Stayed 3 nights at the Marriott in Bucharest and it was pretty good. Just the typical Marriott service. Room was clean, breakfast was also very good. Tried the steakhouse for dinner but was very disappointed. It was honestly the worst steak I have ever had but there is a great Lebanese restaurant downstairs and yuumm! If that doesn't work, fortunately... More

The hotel gets top rating, but the location meant a taxi ride everywhere. And finding a honest taxi driver in Bucharest is like trying to find a virgin at Florida State. Used Marriott rewards points, so cannot comment on the value. But the executive lounge was awesome. Service as always at Marriotts was great.

I am currently staying at the Grand Hotel Bucharest. This really is a nice hotel. Very Grand and beautifully ornate. Upon our arrival we found the reception staff to be really helpful, informative and they spoke excellent English too! They were able to provide advice on where to visit, what to do and even booked visits on our behalf. The reception... More

Very nice Marriott property-with all it's usual perks. Spacious rooms, very large marbled spotless bathroom, fantastic kingsized bed. Additional good things - there is a lovely outdoor terrace restaurant with a cute little play area for little ones-my 3 year old loved it! Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed for maintenance! The only reason I have given 4 stars instead... More

I was happy to descover this place as it becomed one of my favorite. As I liked fresh food, I was glad to eat at the Marriott’s  restaurants. The dishes are rich and sightly and made me feel very refreshed. Appreciate the service and I had good business meetings there. Additionally, I spend some time near the pool area and... More

I recently stayed at this hotel using reward points. Upon checking in at the reception I agreed to upgrade to executive rooms for an additional charge, with access to the lounge. I checked out of the hotel at the executive lounge. Now I just found that I had been charged the same amount twice - one from the reception and... More
