“you could do a lot worse”

As other revewer says its a lot better than it looks (which isn't difficult!) Good size room/bathroom/terrace. Staff speak a bit of English and can be vagually helpful. Central (close to the train and inner city bus station) and easy. Believe that since I visited the hotel situation has got a bit better in Chisinau - but would happily stay... More

Arrived at the small but modern looking airport. Take the official yellow 1407 taxi to centre - fixed 5 euro. From outside this 16 storey hotel looks faded as many of the bedrooms are let as offices - I think the first 7 floors! It is centrally located just off the main street in capital.
