Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed here 2 nights while visiting Zagreb. The staff was absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful and accommodating. Everything was incredibly clean and the hostel has a very calm atmosphere. By the reception there’s also a super cozy bar. I’d say the only downside would be the location that’s a bit out of the center, however the tram is just a 5 minute walk away. Thank you for all the help while I was in Croatia :))

Nice and cozy spot just close enough to where you want to be. Staff friendly and professional, clean and maintained and coffee is good. Shared bathroom for 8 people only and toiletries are provided FOC. Cherry does indeed provide everything you would need from accommodation.

Great hostel if you want a quiet/familiar place. The whole staff treated me very nicely. They were always smilling and happy to have a conversation with you. Once we had a beer together at the terrace and those moments are difficult to forget. If you want a place with human warmth this is your place. If you look for luxury go somewhere else. It is in a quiet area not far from the city centre, well communicated with trams. There is an exchange office a couple of minutes away and a kiosk very close to buy transport tickets. Also food market, small bakeries, some restaurants... I booked a bed in a 6-bed dormitory room. They provided a towel, linen, blanket and locker. Breakfast (3-egg ham omelette, fresh fruit, toasts, juice and home-made pastry) was included. You had to pay for coffee. 16€/night for an outstanding service. There was a small issue with the wc but the fixed it just next day. Everything was very clean. Keep that way Cherry Hostel!!!!!

My husband and I just spent five days at the Cherry. It was fantastic. We stayed in both the shared rooms and the apartment. Both were immaculately clean and had comfortable beds. The apartment books up quickly and it's not a surprise why. It was very large and comfortable, with everything we needed. The large bath was a nice treat. Sara was the best host. The bar was a nice relaxing spot, both inside and out. We can't wait to come back, hopefully soon.

This was for us, the best place to find in Zagreb. If you make it here, you can be a part of history. In this place, we spoke for many hours about Rick Simpson and his work to bring the truth to the public. Indeed we were honoured to have him come and join us to speak about his struggles at the Cherry Hostel. The Cherry Hostel Enjoy. Cappuccinos here are unlike anywhere else I can describe.

I was staying at the hostel in total two nights with my friends. The PRO's of the hostel: *very clean (the rooms as well as the toilet/bathroom) *extremely helpful and nice staff (e.g. once it was raining and they borrowed us their umbrellas; we had to leave at the last day at 04 am andf they made us lunch packages instead of breakfast) *breakfast included *parking place in front of the hostel The only con that comes into my mind is, that the city center is a bit further away (~20min by feet to the central square). BUT for lazy people, there is also the possibility of taking a tram, that is in a two minute walking distance. :)

Clean and good size rooms. The service was at best quality from the staff. I'll recommend this hostel to everyone. Pretty good price for the conditions. The only bad part is the distance to the center of the town, but walking is healthy!
